Our AmeriCorps team member based in Washington County, Shahad, was interviewed on KCII radio to discuss the Disaster PrepWise program.

She also created a brochure with Washington County Public Health to inform people about an all-hazards approach to disaster preparation. “All-hazards” means that a plan can be used in any situation, whether snow, sleet or summer heat.
