Due to hazardous winter weather conditions, Washington County Public Health will be closing at 12:00 PM today to ensure the safety of our staff and community. ❄️🌨️

If you must travel, please use extra caution on the roads. Here are some winter driving tips to help keep you safe:

🚗 Slow down – Snow and ice can make roads slippery. Drive at a reduced speed and allow extra stopping distance.
🛞 Check your tires – Make sure they have proper tread and are inflated correctly.
🔦 Keep lights on – Use your headlights to improve visibility, even during the day.
📏 Increase following distance – Leave plenty of space between you and other vehicles.
🆘 Be prepared – Keep an emergency kit in your car with blankets, water, and a flashlight.
