Public Health Program Manager
FTE: 1.0, 40 hours
Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Agency Administrator
Primary Functions: Responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs that serve individuals and the community of Washington County.  This includes providing immunizations through on-site and off-site immunization clinics to all ages (infants through adults), participation in community assessment, grant writing and/or projects under the direction of the Administrator. Provides follow up and education on communicable disease investigations. Provides health education with individual clients and in community settings as requested and promotes awareness of public health issues through communication with the general public, community stakeholders, media and legislators.

Qualifications: Must possess a State licensure as a Registered Nurse.  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred but not required. A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience preferred. Applicant must possess valid BLS and Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and an insured reliable vehicle. Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.

Starting wage:  $33.00 per hour
