Home Health Aide-Homemaker
FTE: .80, 32 hours
Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Home Health Director of Nursing
Primary Functions: Provides personal assistance in the home to protect, stabilize and strengthen the individual or family when nomral patters of living are distrupted and assistance is needed to keep them in their home.  Provides personal care and light housekeeping, maintains documentation, and collaborates with nursing staff to implement patient's plan of care.
Qualifications: Must possess high school diploma or equivalent and one of the following: Completion of 60 hour Home Care Aide training course, 75 hours of Certified Nurse Aide course, or Home Care Aide training and prior approval by the Department. Must be able to present certificate.  Applicant must possess valid BLS and Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and an insured, reliable vehicle. Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
